Registering a Team

With AFA CyberPatriot

Senior members that are interested in participating in CyberPatriot must register their team on www.uscyberpatriot.org. We highly recommend that the coach registers a placeholder for the team when registration opens; they fill in the competitors' information after the exhibition rounds.

To ease tracking of units that participate, it is advised that coaches complete the team registration form in the following manner:

Organization Name: Official Unit Name - Charter Number (for example: General Carl Spaatz Cadet Squadron - NHQ-NHQ-123)

Team Nickname: Tooey's Cyber Cadets

Quality Cadet Unit Award Credit (QCUA)

In order for the unit to receive QCUA credit, the team must actively participate in the competition. Currently, a CyberPatriot team must earn at least two (2) points during Round 1 and Round 2. Participation in Rounds 3 and 4 are optional but recommended for experience.

Cadet Cyber Badge

Civil Air Patrol's National Cyber Programs Team has a newly-created Cadet Cyber Badge that recognizes the work of cadets on cyber education, including participation in the CyberPatriot program. For cadets to receive proper credit, it is imperative that the cadet's unit be properly registered with CyberPatriot and they are listed on the team roster.
